We stayed in a Georgia State
Park about 20 minutes outside of Savannah. Skidaway Island State Park was one of the best campgrounds
we've ever been in. There was so much room between sites that we must have
had an acre to ourselves. And not just any acre. It was filled with huge
Spanish moss covered trees. We spent 3 of our days just hanging around the
park.
The city of Savannah did not
disappoint. The architecture was beautiful. And there was so much history. I
started listening to Gone With The Wind on the drive up just to get in the
mood!
